What is made to order? 

At Solémar, most of our garments and goods are made to order– meaning they are not produced until the order is placed for said garment. This is to help prevent textile waste and over production of garments, as well so that the material could be used for different garments or goods in the future. 

Made to order pieces typically take 1 – 3 weeks for production and shipping. All made to order pieces are handmade, and designed by Barb. 

What is a one of one garment?

A majority of garments at Solemar are one of ones, or one of a few. Many times the material sourced for our garments is not enough to make multiples, since we are sourcing fabric from second hand shops and using preloved materials, it limits the amount of garments that can be produced. 

 

What is my garment or good made from?

Read item descriptions to see what each garment is upcycled from, what the material is, and fit details. Each piece at Solemar is unique, and each garment can fit differently based on the material it was made from!
